It's not summery weather today but it's not too bad out, some clouds and threatening to rain. We're off to GP (Grande Prairie) today. A larger city about 2 hrs from where we live. Time for my monthly zapping - (my LHR) fun stuff. Not! Well at least we get to go to McDonalds and shop around at some of the larger stores. Have a great day everyone!

Hey everyone, my first post yay Smile

Well Ive been to Jodies this morning and stayed for lunch too, was fun watching Henry and his friend Liam playing in the paddling pool, that boy has NO FEAR whatsoever!

Beensitting in my back garden for the last 2 hours and its got too hat for me to handle, hence me being on here x

At last!!! It's too hot for me too Shelley, it's just so humid and draining, and it just makes you sweat! I hope you took your jeans off? lol....you're right Henry has NO fear lol, glad you had fun! xxxxx

You lucky people with all the sunny hot weather. It was not so hot today but good for working in. Spent all the day cleaning mon-blocking of moss looking forward to my BBQ steak etc.outside No such luck!!! At 5pm on came very bad thunder and lightning and down pelted the rain. Had to eat indoors - not the same

Glad you all enjoyed yourselves today though

i hate the hot weather..my son been in his paddling pool this afternoon,he loved it,me i was sitting in what shade i could find.. Very Happy

Hello all - Glad to see more and more of you here! Can I make one simple request? If you have a favourite topic or you have posted comments on a favourite topic on our old site that you don't see here but would like to please feel free to Copy & Paste it to our new site.

You can do this by highlighting the selected text you wish to copy on our old site, then right clicking on your mouse, scroll to Copy, then right click again and click on Paste to place it under the appropriate category on the new site.

If the content you wish to copy contains posts made by other members you can click on the "quote" box in the top right corner, copy their full message text making sure to include everything from the first [quote] to last the [quote] then follow the same C&P instructions as above.

Deb and I and the other admins/mods are working hard to get everything from the old site transfered over to the new site but any assistance from our wonderful members is GREATLY appreciated Smile

Also, if anyone knows of a file transferring program that is compatible with multi-forums please let us know! :mrgreen:

Another fabulously sunny day, but we've got to make the most of it, as towards the end of the week it's going to cool down to 15 - 18 degrees brrrrr with chance of showers. Well thats the norm for this time of year, but I've kinda gotten used to this hot weather Sad

Today I'm going to see if we can give blood. Plant the lettuces into bigger pots, and generally potter around the house. Have a good Monday everyone!

I'm doing the same, just pottering around and trying to stay outta the sun today. I've come up in a really bad heat rash and it's not clearing tho Aloe Vera has taken the itch outta it, I still have mad bumps on my arms n chest.

Well it's 6.30pm and theres a chill in the air brrrrrrrrr it really has dropped in temp, I've had to shut the patio door and put me socks on lol..hot water bottle tonight Wink

I'd like it to stay hot till December Ju, so I'll be praying for good weather! lol

Cool and grey here today, so I'm going through the house. Just done the living room, having a coffee before I take the polish and vacuum upstairs Wink
