I have my 13mth grandson all day today aswell as my stepson,so i won't get a lot of house work done,i might take them for a walk later.The house work can wait Wink

The builder came at 930 to tell me he's been poorly all weekend and going to the docs later, so they can't start the garden today Sad

I wished him well soon, but can't help feeling disappointed Sad

How disappointing Debs about the setback. Let's hope he is truly unwell and not just shirking when he feels like it. Not exactly a charitable remark but it has happened to me a number of times. Will he come tomorrow or has he still to make another date???

Weather here is blue skies, white clouds and a little breeze. I am going to be absolutely lazy and do nothing except enjoy this rare bit of weather

Well the doc thinks he has gallstones, he was still prepared to come but has asked if we wouldn't mind paying an extra days wage for him to get in another labourer, so he has two to help him do the hardcore etc. He dropped off the whacker plate last night and talked about patterns etc.... H came this morning all ready and eager BUT ...BOTH..his labourers let him down Sad

so no work today, set to start tomorrow now ! *sigh* I know shit happens, but I can't help feeling let down........will see what happens tomorrow. He's promised he'll have it done for the weekend and was really apologetic, he seems genuine, and he's an old boy so I have to be patient Wink

Apart from that, the sun is trying to shine through and they forecast a hot day, lets hope, because I'll hit the patio if it does and won't move far lol!

what a scorcher it turned out to be yesterday. Rained last night but blue skies in the distance so looks promising. Actually quite warm

Going to the doc's this morning for a check-up in relation to the pleurisy then a wee look at the local sales and then home to the housework

Sorry to hear about the delay again Debs with your drive. Hope things get off the ground soon

Well... I went out last night, yet again, and it was a good night.. until the end! 1.30am.. I decide Im hungry and want some cheesy chips, but just as we get to the door Ne-Yo starts playing ''Cloooooooserrrrr'' and I decide I want to go back and dance.. I strut my stuff up to the dancefloor, start throwing some moves around and OH DEAR, I slip and fall flat on my bum. Didnt feel so cool then when some guy had to help me up.. and I ran to my friend and said ''we have to go. NOW. Ive just fell over.. MOVE NOW before everyone knows who I am''

That's good news Debs - how long do they expect to take to complete the job?

Weather overcast but very warm. Went out shopping with a neighbour to the sales today and had a spot of lunch. Meant to do some housework today again but that's been put on the back burner till tomorrow

About 3 days, 4 at the most. It's amazing how much they have done today, it must be a third complete. I know all the cuts round the edge will take the time, but it's looking good and I'm dead chuffed! Smile

I'll bet you are. I remember when we got our mono-block laid I kept looking out the window and going outside as well just to stare at it and thinking how good it looked and what a difference it made to that area. You'll probaby do the same. I'll keep my fingers and everything else crossed for good weather so you can get it finished

Val n I went into town today, she had a hair appointment n had to pick up her contact lenses n I needed to get OH some Bonjela Once..it stings like a bitch but works really well on ulcers (they go in a day or so).Bloody expensive tho 2 applications cost 8.99 !

I picked up a conditioning colour for my roots just and a protector for straightening my hair and a curl boost ta gt rid of frizz( I forgot I hated that about curly hair). See Debs I'm trying to look after it now lol so it won't end up a mess that ya have ta sort out!

Has anyone noticed the flying ants in town ? There was tons of them around Boots, big black icky things yuck.

Hi hi everyone! Things going well? I haven't been doing too much of anything lately, but I do need to get back into the groove here soon because school starts next month Sad

It sucks! I don't wanna go back, but I have to if I wanna be educated...blah.

Oh! I got contacts now, and they are fricken hard to put in my eyes X_X and it makes me so mad cause it takes like ten tries for each eye and I drop them a lot and yada yada...but when I finally get them in, I can see and I don't have to wear glasses, so woot!

I got contacts last month Steph and after a week or so it does get way easier, Oh's Mum got them today as well and she has same problem..we think the right eye is harder maybe cause we're both right-handed?!? Mine go in 1st time now and come out 1st time as well...ain't it great to be able to see without your glasses? Do you feel nekkid without glasses on ?

If you struggle to get one in leave it for a minute or so then go back to trying you'll calm down n it'll go in easier.

Glad I'm not the only one who sneaks looks at things Hannah lol..I pulled the car up out front of our house yesterday and couldn't help sitting there a few minutes smiling to myself, looking at the bit they had done ! I said to Paul, I want to go sweep it already lmao...women eh?
