Hi Stormy, the forum has been really quiet the last few weeks, I think because Summer is here people are out more, and with those that work it's hit and miss whether you catch others online. I think our evening times are busier but then you'd be in bed ! lol You'll have to recruit some Aussie members then they could span that gap!! lol What does your hubby do for a living that takes him away to snow fields?
Well the builders are back for the final leg of our brickweave, at last. It's cooler today, which is welcomed after yesterdays humidity, but I hope it gets out hotter later. Paul has gone into work for a few hours and YES he is on holiday but seeings the builders are here he thought he'd just go do a few bits ...men! _________________ If you see someone without a smile.....give them yours |

Yeah I can understand that My step dad works away a lot in Germany, he spends his free time either in his room or in the bar lmao!! I suppose at first it's like an adventure till you get into it, then it must be hard....anyway, can't wait to see your pics Amber has an Alsation puppy she is training and posted about. When you say puppies, how old are they? _________________ If you see someone without a smile.....give them yours |

Good morning everyone. Great day yesterday. Found myself running for shade though because the heat was so intense. Muggy day today.
Hubby in the garden doing odd jobs and I got everything done yesterday so a lazy day for me.
How does the work look now Debs? I gather that the weather has been good to get it completed
Hope everyone has a good day |

It looks smashing Hannah will be glad when its over so I can get out and sweep it and admire it lol. I need to get the old paint off the step and windowsills now as that looks shabby, and pressure wash the bottom bricks of the house where the moss is and where the old flower boarders were as that shows up more now against the new brickweave lol funny how you don't notice these things! oh and re-fencecare the side fences too! More work! But will be nice to see it all done. Enjoy your lazy day _________________ If you see someone without a smile.....give them yours |

Aww they've come on well then! Love the names
Well the front is done yeehawwwwww and it looks lovely apart from it's sandy and needs a couple of good rains to settle the sand into the cracks, then will have to be sanded again. I so desperately want to go sweep it and can't arghhhh lmao...........now the hard part, parting with the money to pay the bill he'll be coming after tea to let us know the final amount _________________ If you see someone without a smile.....give them yours |

Oh bloody hell re your garden, sounds like it's been doomed this week lol...hopefully it will recover. I think the heats been making everyone knackered. Make sure you rest up till you're well, and sod work!
Well paving is finished, and the bill is paid, it ended up about a thousand pound less than it would have been. That was through us doing the foot work and buying the bricks. Then just paying 3 days labour +sand /cement/whacker plate hire. Well worth it
Today me and Paul are going into town to buy some bits, we had included the boys but they've already made other arrangements, this is the first year that's happened (now they are older) and it's very strange! lol
Another hot gloriously sunny day woohooooooooo _________________ If you see someone without a smile.....give them yours |

Hope you feel a lot better soon Julie and they find the root of the problem
Today a little overcast with a strong wind but decided to take advantage of it and get the bed linen done. Shouldn't take too long to dry with the wind.
Have a good day everyone |
