Well I have just spent the last 4 and half hours writing Christmas cards. I made a decision this year to cut back a little on the cards particularly with those those acquantances that I haven't seen for years. Getting a little expensive now with the stamps etc. Still had a lot though but that's them done for another year.
Did you manage to get a look in at B&Q Debs for a tree or haven't you had the time yet? - I know you are busy at the moment |

They have 2 dogs one of which is an abused alsation pup which they took in last week and peace has changed to bedlum. Hubby siad he would look after them today. I now have 3 dogs barging in and out of the door like a herd of buffalo.
\daughter will be here in 30 mins to pick me up. Although I am sure it will be mobbed I'm looking forward to it
Have a good day |

Well done Shell!!! I'm so pleased for you, well deserved too, I know you work so hard in school and have done for some time now awwww WTG XXX
Poor you Hannah! I have visions of the dogs bounding round your knees lol. Have a fun with your daughter and family! Not had chance to look in B&Q yet, but will do tomorrow hopefully, I need to get one soon as December is looming so fast !
Bet your hubby is well pleased Brenda, and you're right Hannah, it's a shame bosses don't reward you or tell you until you're threatening to leave.
Went up town with mum again today and did some more Crimbo shopping, shes almost done now. I then came home and wrapped the rest of mine. Just the kids to sort out now, but Scott has decided on a trials bike, so we are scouting for the best deal on one ...I'm knackered!! lol Looking forward to a lay in tomorrow! _________________ If you see someone without a smile.....give them yours |

Woohoo you'll have a ball Hannah, I used to love making things with the kids, it brings out the kid in me lol. Let us know what they make.
Your days planned to the brim Shell! Happy Birthday to ya dad, how old is he?
I'm relaxing today, then tea, Xfactor and Casualty too for me all cosy and warm on the couch
Mart went up town with his mates at 10am and Scott went to play basketball in the central park with his g/f and mates so its all peaceful here, just me and Paul playing on the PC.s.........lurverlyyyyyy
I really want to go to B&Q to buy a slimline Christmas tree but I don't want to move from the warm house, so will wait till in the week. They have a 1/3 off selected trees, I checked online and also have 2 different slimline ones _________________ If you see someone without a smile.....give them yours |

well that's the wee ones in bed and tidied up. I think we've done everything today from baking cakes. a little teaching of knitting and junk modelling, jig-sawa and colouring in.
We didn't do anything to adventurous because she is only 5 but we ended up with quite a nice boat - weetabix box for the the main part, another smaller box for the cabin and a cotton reel for the funnel. Hubby had her out in the shed and came up with rubber washers which she stuck to the sides of the boat for tyres and looped white wool between them for rope. Another little circle painted white and red for the life belt. Painted the boat royal blue with a white cabin and red and white funnel. Just drew black circles for the portholes. Actually looked quite good but it was simple enough for her to manage herself without too much help
Tired out my box at the moment and now going to get changed and have a wee cuppa to relax. |

Well everyone has been fed and watered as they say and the wee ones are away after the week-end stay over. My odlest one seemed a little "hangy" this afternoon and I noticed the beginnings of a rash on her back and tummy so keeping my fingers crossed that it may be away in the morning and it isn't measles or something similar
Busy day tomorrow but relaxing now and definately a earlier night tonight
Hope everyone is well |

Wow the boat sounds fantastic Hannah! and what a fab idea of the rubber washers etc. Bet she was well chuffed when it was done. You sounds like the perfect nana, doing all those fun things with them, what great memories of you they will take into adulthood My nan was always knitting clothes for our dolls, or stitching material for dresses etc for them, I remember her fondly for it. Looking back she was quite a designer when I think of it lol!
Sunday we had snow and it settled on top of hail so it was as slippery as hell, but this morning it has all gone. I spent most of the day going right through the house, changing the beds etc so I wouldn't have to do it today, I was knackered lol
Today I'm taking a trip to B&Q for a new Crimbo tree, then popping to my mums for a chat and a cuppa
Hope you're all well! _________________ If you see someone without a smile.....give them yours |
