No snow this morning but really cold

Been to the dentist and had my weekly hair-do and off to lunch for 12.30
The housework can wait till I get back

Hope you get your tree Debs. Maybe you'll get a bargain with it being so close to Christmas as a lot of stores seem to be having discount prices at the moment as things are not selling

Well I didn't get the tree I'd seen online as they only have the full range in the major cities, but I got a 6 foot one, artificial, not slimline but slimmer than the rest and it was only 14.99, I was gobsmakced, it was as plush as the ones for £50 and I couldnt see any difference?! I wasn't complaining lol. I also bought some snow flake window clings too. Mum came with me too and spent loads of bits and pieces for the house. We then went and had some lunch in Morrisons and a cuppa, then went to Matalans and got some nice bits from there. I'm knackered again lol and get this, I've been so busy I've not ironed for two whole days arghhhhhhhhh I have a mountain, but what the heck, I can get on with it tomorrow can't I? lol

Glad you got the tree and at a very good price too

I went shopping with my friend after lunch and it was freezing. I had on my shoes under my trousers instead of my boots and was glad to get back to the car and get the heater on - took a while to warm up. A night for the ouse

Today I'm doing the mountain of ironing that has accumulated over the past two days, and wrapping the last bits of the Crimbo presents.

The weather is a mishmash of rain sun sleet and it's bloody cold lol.

Cold here but bright and sunny. Had a bit of a lie-in this morning and then pottered about for a wee while. We're off out to a friend's house for luch in about half an hour and then I'll need to think about getting some messages later on

What's the saying "man makes plans and God laughs

Intended picking up the grand children tomorrow from school and nursery since my daughter would not be back in time and son-in-law is away on business - have dinner and then come home. However justt had a call to say that she would be later than expected so now I'm staying over till Thursday. Need to be back since hubby and I are going out for an early dinner

I'm tired....I think exhausted and run-down too. Sorry to come in moaning but that's what us women do don't we? LOL
I've been on this computer for hours! Updating my DVD list, updating my DVD catalogue...I swear I should have had an office career!!
I'm making a catalogue of all of our DVD's this includes title page and then 7 movies per page thereafter, all in genre format.
Each has a little picture, the title (colour coded for bought ones, burned ones, etc) Year of release...2 starring actors, rating, how long the movies goes for and then a small synopsis.
I've been having some fun working on my title pages. I've been downloading the actual covers, cutting, pasting and layering and I am thrilled with the results. I love graphic art, and it keeps me off the streets!

Sounds good Brenda but an awful lot of work as well - still there is a lot of satisfaction that you have done a good job of it and the end result has turned out well

I'm really very tired as well this morning. I think I have probably overdone things the last few weeks and I'm paying for it now. I have a distinct ache at my left shoulder blade which is affecting my shoulder a bit

Hi everyone! I have been sooo busy trying to keep my grades up Sad

I have a failing grade in Philosophy and I think I have scraped up a barely passing grade in Chemistry..as long as I don't fail the finals in two weeks, I'm A-OK for this semester Very Happy

I get to go back home Dec. 12 for a whole month!!! :DDD

lmao, I can see no one missed me *sobs*..how about asking for Jo and Jackie Shell???

Wb Redddddddddd we did miss you we were wondering and worrying! I thought Steph was lost in the depths of Facebook or Myspace lol, glad to see you back too, we missed your quirkyness!

Well as a few of you know, my mum has been in hospital having an operation. She's been in since last Wednesday and we've been doing the 100 mile round trip daily to see her, she was good, then had a bad turn Sunday and had us all worrying about her. Today though she had perked up and was out of bed with pink cheeks, moaning about the food lmao so we know she's feeling better!..Can't wait to get her back home, it wouldn't be so bad if she was in out local hossie, although she's worth it, it's very tiring and practically takes up the whole day leaving very little time for housework yet alone leisure activities like the PC.

Glad everyone is well and I'll be back in full swing asap, but for now, life is more important than the forum Smile
