Well today me and my sisters are having a day off from the hospital, stepdad will of course go visit her so she wont have to sit with no visitors. We are going to mums house and give it a spring clean ready for when she comes home and we are also going to put up her Christmas Tree and decorations We are doing it secretly so hopefully it will be a nice surprise for her Wink I still haven't managed to get mine up yet but hopefully I can get it up tomorrow morning before we go visit her Smile

Well my tree and trimmings went up Thursday and I feel so much better for it too. I love the cosyness of sitting in the evening with the tree and window lights illuminating the window Smile Icon_christmaswindow

My mum is on the mend which is a big bonus too! Hope you're all well , and I guess you're all busy lol

Thats what me and Paul said the other day, this year has just FLOWN by!!! Funny isn't it, when you're young you wish the years away, you wanna be 16, then you wanna be 18 and 21 and the years go by so slowly. THEN you get to those ages, start settling and having families and BAM the years whizz by lol

it feels worse when you work in a school aswell, because its split into 3 terms it just whizzes by!! its true what they say, life is like bog roll, the closer you get to the end the faster it goes.

Aww hope it goes quick for you Steph Wink

Trying to get back to a normal routine here, been to see mum at home and helped her shower etc, she looked so much better with her hair done properly. She's still week, but hopefully will pick up soon. I haven't had five minutes to myself all day, its ten to seven and I've just sat down, so will have a quick flick here then off to the couch for some well earned R & R.

Hope you're all well!

Bright and sunny Wednesday morn, washing on the line, kids at school. Paul taking the day off today Smile He's going to put Scotts bike together for Christmas and retile my door step inside my patio door and it's badly chipped on the edges and looks manky.

Got to go to post office, then to see how mum, then handballthe last of my cards round to neighbours, thats it!

It's the wee hours of Friday morning here now....2.55am to be precise.
I have not long been in from working.
Sunday week ago I got a phone call from a cleaner who subcontracts for me....he has decided to resign, he's had enough...carried on with how he is fed up with them walking all over his nice clean floors once he has finished mopping them....yadda...yadda...yadda.....
So....ok, I decided that it's my contract, I'll do the job myself. I wanted more work anyway. So I rang the client and told her that "he" had decided to resign and I would be taking over. She said she was relieved...shock! Horror! It wasn't that long ago she was telling me how great he was and how well they got along etc. And now she is relieved that he is leaving? Something HAD to have done wrong. But I wasn't going to ask. So Monday, this week I started doing that job as well as my others....and of all weeks, this week is my busy week too.
My client made a slight remark about how my working there would mean the place would be cleaner than it had been....hmmmm, I wonder if they have had words?
Well, I noticed so much that he hadn't done so it has been taking me longer than it supposed to to try to get on top of it all.
Anyhow, this job is a monday to friday job in the afternoons starting around 3.30pm.
Then I get another phone call...a cry for help. Pleeeease help me get my house cleaned up before Christmas!!!
A new client....but she wanted me there for about 4 hours....no can do! I gave her 2. But then there was about 20 minutes travelling time as well, there and back.
I'm going back again next Tuesday for about 3 hours and then probably Friday for another 3. Hopefully that will sort her out.
She wants me weekly after xmas, as opposed to my others who are fortnightly.
I've had to do some shifting and shuffling around of clients to fit everyone in now that I have taken on the other job as well, which is a mushroom farm.
Consequently, this week I've had no time for anything!! I've been going to the medical centre at 4.30am, finishing by 7am. Coming home, an hour or so nap and then out again cleaning houses, then home to have a bite to eat and out again. Home again in time to cook dinner, shower and fall into bed.
The other night I called into the chicken shop and grabbed a cooked chook and a tub of salad, came home, dumped it on the kitchen bench and told hubby, "there's your tea...YOU sort it out" LOL.
Do you know what he said to me? "What? No chips?"

We had some really good news today though. Hubby's compensation is coming through. They have offered him 32 and a half thousand dollars.
We should have it by christmas. Now he wants to buy a new car!

Ok, thats me done....all caught up I think. Till next time...have a good one
Thumbs Up

lmao Brenda! Men always want more no matter what it is you do for them!

You must be shattered, but the extra money will be nice, just be careful you don't bugger your back up again Wink Nice to hear from you again though.

Glad I was as far on with my Christmas things as I was now I can sit back and enjoy. Going to my daughter's for a few days over the Christmas period and my sone has managed to change his duty roster and wll be up as well

Hope everyone is well

Ohhh Hannah, great to hear you're back in action so to speak. I hope you're taking it easy and it's good to hear your family are looking after you over Christmas Smile I'll be doing the same for my mum lol, I just hope she can sit and relax and LET me do it without her feeling the need to come and help me lol, you know what you mums are like Wink

Should be going to do a little bit of shopping later. Pauls been off work and poorly and is now aching like a good un and has decided to get out for an hour or so today. So we are off to Matalans as I've spotted a giant canvas print I want for the boys bedroom, and Morrisons is next door so we are going in there to get some Crimbo drink.

Miserable here today, but the wind of yesterday has dropped.

Totally miserable here today - high winds and rain - a night for the house

I now have everything in and organised for the week. My son and fiancee are coming tomorrow for the week so did a pile of food shopping this afternoon. You forget how much they eat when it's only hubby and I usually

Hope everyone is well
