| the goblin had returned to posting but as yet he had to find his depth again, "...posting is the easy part but finding something worth posting is both the reward and the challenge of this game..." voiced the goblin to this quiet empty room once more, the slow ticking seconds seemed to tally the duration of his wait, the actual time was irrelevant, each repetitive tick was enough to let the goblin know that the hour was late enough for him to hear and feel its steady passing sensation as the goblin waited upon his thoughts once more |

| the goblin knew that as long as his appearance was acceptable, then that was an end to it, "...relationships always seem an expensive commitment whereas casual relationships are just cheap..." voiced that goblin not talking about finance here so much as the compromise needed to adjust to someone else habits |

Down to one Pc at the mo, so not much time to catch up. Both others are being looked at kindly by my brother, fingers crossed it isn't going to be an expensive job ...then I can get down to seriously putting my mark in this thread. Rather than the fleeting efforts I'm trying to catch as one son stands up and the other sits down! _________________ If you see someone without a smile.....give them yours |

| the goblin wished Serenity every success in getting hold of her own computer,"...the rule of thumb is buy a laptop second hand that is too old for your children to want to borrow from you, dump the windows for linux and they will turn their noses up at it while you will be surfing without either infection nor protection..." ventured the goblin again |

| and then the night fell and with it the rain promised in the forecast, the sound of cars driving on the wet road now told the goblin that the hot Summer was slowly giving way to the start of Autumn, "...best time of the year..." ventured the goblin who loved the colors of the trees, the longer evenings and cosiness of a log fire with a good book or a spate on his computer, "...I am just happy that I live in a life where I can try to be the last poster here but I will never write my last post I know, no, I am going to write posts here forever instead..." mused the goblin once more |

I really felt the esssence of Autumn in you last post though I don't embrace it as warmly as you do because I'm still longing for a hot summer! A summer like those of your chilhood, where you wandered for hours feeling the heat of the sun, seeing the haze on the roads, enjoying the light nights. Distant memories but still so good. .................with the last two summers in England being absolutley abismal, Autumn and winters onset isn't so charming. It feels like we are in one perpetual winter of varying degrees, nevertheless it's still winter! _________________ If you see someone without a smile.....give them yours |

| the goblin could relate, he had enjoyed those English Summers in his childhood but they were some bright warm affair, not something that burns on contact, nor containing this inescapable heat, "...the word that springs to mind is "stark" and its a stark unforgiving Summer's sun which stifles one here..." mentioned the goblin again feeling that somehow Geneva's Autumn was much like an English Summer |

| another day and the goblin bids the Chitchatbots well in their previous places once more while he himself has forgotten his headphones that is at the very moment that they have let lose "Radio Nostalgi" in this bistro, "...and what you may ask is "Radio Nostalgi", well if you can imagine some audio equivalent of English food, it has to be French pop music, of which without doubt nostalgic French pop music has to right up there with those culinary delights of jellied ells and tripe that those other delicacies that Brits prove their manhood on..." continued the goblin again adding "...add to this the odd English song which is usually the same English song every time, and one gets a pretty good idea why this bistro is empty then..." and then the goblin heard an old song and was transfered back to the moment in his past when he used to hear it so many years before "...are yes I remember that song now and how it hated it then too..." he wailed in disbelief and resignation |
