| the goblin was here as usual facing the slot once more, there was a million things that he could write about he knew as his mind had now almost recovered from the headache which had narrowed his focus to one sole question(of "how much longer") had passed, his dark silent bed had helped and once more he simply swore that lie that he wouldn't play computer games again, but this lesson, much like a hangover, would eventually be overtaken by a need to escape from the "straight and narrow", "...I guess if one can't do something in moderation then one just has to oscillate between famine and feast like this..." the goblin concluded |

today the mountains are beautiful, the German woman who sells the paintings outside the ticket office of the Aiguille du Midi cable car, relates to the goblin how she had worked into the night translating for the rescue groups, those both Austrian and Swiss, who were comforting the families of those lost mountaineers who hopes were now fading over the avalanche the night before, she continued, telling the goblin how the aiguille du tacul is known as dangerous even if it is the best way to the summit of Mont Blanc, how the mountaineers were all experienced, how they had done everything that they should have done, could have done, etc., and yet without reason the icepack chose that moment in the very early morning to break free start not so much an avalanche of snow that is, so much as a landslide of hard glacier ice that had swept those directly in its path down burying them in the gaps of the glacier below, still now their rescue beckons registered on the radar though the rescue teams who couldn't go there knew no one could survive such a fall and that it was too dangerous to rescue someone from there anyway, looking across at the mountain now from the bistro here, somehow the goblin felt that Mont Blanc had demanded a toll on man again, that it would take what it wanted regardless, but that man would still risk the journey to the summit, it's just both had their needs it seemed |

| tonight the goblin finds himself watching the US open tennis match between the woman who resembles a runaway farm tractor and the man wearing women's clothes it seems, "...actually I am all for the reintroduction of women in woman's tennis..." he concludes |

What a stunning picture flea!
I'm not one for watching tennis, the grunting gets on my wick I'm afraid :S
PC repairs in progress, the kids PC ,the hard drive have gone kaput, so he is ordering a new one for us. My PC on the other hand is proving to be difficult to diagnose what's up with it so wish him well. It really sucks having one PC between us all and not being rich enough to get another lol _________________ If you see someone without a smile.....give them yours |

| back to the goblin's madness, the goblin liked the posts, "...the balance between being too sensitive to post, and insensitive to what one sees, is a fine one..." he ventured, in that his work had numbed him again to the events of his life once more and although he had seen the gypsy boy holding a paper cup out to the drivers stopped by the traffic lights, had seen his mother seated on another corner holding a baby under one arm and a paper cup under the other, the goblin hadn't thought about it till later when he asked himself if "taking the child away from the parent" as the Swiss had done in the past was the right answer or not, anyway continuing homeward the smell of the elephants from the visiting circus, the degradation of the foliage of Autumn, and so many other things just happened for the noticing, "...what is the point of being alive if one doesn't match it by being aware then..." he typed into the slot's mouth at this point but when an event had happened the goblin had barely noticed it, "...dailylife and the moneygod are thieves..." the goblin concluded slowly realizing how much of his life was just washing over him unnoticed |

Easy to let life pass you by without caring to take notice of it. Your posts really capture the essence of whats seen and often overlooked. You certainly have a way with words _________________ If you see someone without a smile.....give them yours |

| the goblin saluted Serenity, "...it's a slow process but "facing the slot" somehow has me biting the hand of this dailylife that feeds me..." joked the goblin not really laughing since the goblin also knew he was at dailylife's mercy too, "...the magician's trick is to have me think that the object is where it should be, only to surprise me by its being elsewhere..." the goblin sought the right words saying "...I have often fallen for life's tricks then, these distractions that turn out to be worthless, whereas once in a very rare while I can actually make out that magician behind it all..." |

| the goblin welcomed brenda saying "...everyone wins here, only that life moves on so one has to keep on winning which is the hard part...", the goblin didn't mention the bit where ones own reflection seems grows with the number of post as to what type of poster one is, that there are times of self doubt, times when one is dry, and even times when the last thing in the world one wants to do is face the slot like this, "...but there are times when one amazes oneself too..." ventured the goblin slowly sifting his lot through the focus of a pen adding "...to live is to win, to post is to win too but to keeping on posting is to triumph..." |

| the goblin showed up, "...and now for my next trick..." as he clicks on the a program called "Zattoo" knowing that the Swiss allowed most European television channels to stream, he had BBC one and BBC world, and various American TV channels, French channels, German, Spanish and a whole host of channels in languages that noone had heard of let alone seen and all for free but then he remembered two problems "...first off, it all depends on which country one is watching "Zattoo" from meaning that some countries wouldn't allow foreign channels for copyright problems, etc., "...oh and the other problem is simply that I don't watch television...", so next he would go on and probably install something else that he didn't much need such being the hidden price of "no cost" items he notes |
