Yeah he is ok, well as can be. Yeah it is a bit of a knock, but then i thought to myself well if it was jake then i would want them to hold onto him till he was ready and not let him go before. So her mum must feel the same.

Exactly hunni  always good to see docs doing their very best for everyone and not just trying to rush them in and out before they are fully better. Are you settling in down this way now then Kelly? Is playschool/nursery still ok? I kow I keep saying it, but I really must get round to see you! xxx

Hi everyone just thought i would update you all on whats going on. I know that i sent debs a text the other day so she updated you a little for me. Thanks for that hun. Well the first night they started treatment was scary. Had a temp of 40 went into a fit blue lips and wasnt breathing good. So nurses put on the emergency alarm on to get help. I went into shock, but thankfully he started to cool down and things went back to normal. He has had a temp once a day so far, but the think its due to one of the drugs. They keep taking samples of everything but haven't managed to grow any bug so thats a good sign. Stoped the drug today that could have been causing the temp so fingers crossed that things are going to settle a bit.
He will be having his new bone marrow on friday, then i think hes got to have some more chemo of some sort. So keep your fingers crossd for us and everything else that is possible.
Ill update you again soon. I have the internet down here which has been alot easier.

Oh bless his little heart! Glad he's alittle more stable now and I've got everything crossed for you and the BM transplant on Friday. Can't wait for him to be all recovered so you can get back to some sort of normality Kelly, I know its such a strain on you all, but you'll get there soon I'm sure xxxxxxxxxx

anyone on here that has facebook can i add you. Its just some one sent me a support group for HLH and i was gonna add as many people to it as possible. You know what we have been through so it needs all; the support it can get.

yes he did have it done today. Took about 30 mins, put into him through a drip. Not that unplesant to see thankfully. But it was very emotional. Partly cause the end to the nightmare being hooked up on the machine. And partly pleased let it do as it should and not be any other problems. Hes really grumpy due to to drugs, and isnt eating big amounts. But they are still happy at the moment

Oh brilliants Kels I didn't know how they did a bone marrow transplant, I assumed it would be an operation of some sort  ...so does it go from the drip straight into his bones, or into his blood? how does it work, in other words lol?
