Well it's here again, the night we remember that Guy Fawkes tried to blow up the houses of Parliament all those years ago....this will be the first year we have not celebrated it. We asked the kids and they weren't particularly fussed whether we did or not, seeings Scott will probs be out with his g/f and Mart will be on call to any of his mates who knock for him. Soooo I decided I wasn't going to waste all that money on something they weren't particulary eager for. It feels odd as we've always gotten together with the family, either at my mums my bros or mine, and feasted on burgers etc whilst oooohing and arrrring at the fireworks. It's sad that the kids are growing up! Never mind, I'll probnably still do burgers hotdogs and baked potatoes for tea, and think of all the money I've saved lol.
Are you doing anything tonight?

| In the surrounding villages they generally have the fireworks and bonfire on the nearest Saturday rather than on the 5th but I was surprised when the 2 towns nearest to me had theirs last night. Can't understand why they didn't wait for tonight |
