I got this in my email yesterday and thought I would share....it has 12 photos so I may have to split it up
* * * * *
So I'm using my bbq this weekend... so i thought ill clean it up..
I have known there were bees coming from under the cover so I thought I'd kill them, obviously...
so heres the bbq in question.....
Now I know these bombs aren't for bees but I thought I'll suffocate/smoke them out. So here is the weapon of choice
and delivery system....
I thought I was pretty smart (he he he) designed to be easily manouvered under the cover of darkness...
so then I release the weapon of buzz destruction..
OMFG! The sound from under the cover was incredible!!! You could hear it 3m away easy...
Then I ran like the clappers....
coming back few mins later to see the death toll...
It was at least a 20mm deep mass grave....
I continued to remove the cover and to light the bbq to give it a clean when i noticed some fatty looking substance on the top of the side shelf thing....
Bit weird.. I cleaned it before I put it away for winter and no way was there fat there so I begun to wonder......
NO..... it can't be could it?
I slowly removed the rest of the cover only to find the HQ..
AND ON ANOTHER NOTE
we think the queen flew away.... either that or a small child has wings and has been living in the hive coz that thing was huge! _________________ We're the pride of South Australia...we're the mighty ADELAIDE CROWS..... |

OOOOOOOO MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG !!!! lmao! What a funny story and how bizarre that it made it's nest there! I would have died of fright, imagine not knowing they were there and lifting it up for them to swarm?!!
We had a wasps nest last year in our shed. I hadn't noticed but my next door neighbour had them flying around in her garden entering under the roof of our brick built shed from her side of the garden. I had to call pest control out and pay about £30 or so for them to spray the nest. It got rid of it straight away, and touch wood they haven't returned. When I went in the brick shed that is all lined out with plasterboard etc, you could hear the wasps buzzing behind the board, it was awful. Wasps are so nasty, I'm not sure if bees are the same, but anything that stings is a bad thing in that quantity! _________________ If you see someone without a smile.....give them yours |

Either can sting you to death in great quantities. Unlike the wasp who can continue to sting and sting and sting...the bee stings once and then goes away to die, but the point is, you have already been stung!
We have European wasps here which are particularly nasty. If you have them nesting you HAVE to call out someone to get rid of them because we are trying to eradicate them completely.
Nasty! _________________ We're the pride of South Australia...we're the mighty ADELAIDE CROWS..... |

Hi Sel, this wasn't mine...it was sent to me by email. I have no idea who it actually was but it would have been nice to have all that honey LOL
Ohh on second thought, after the bees had been smoked I don't think it would have been a good idea to eat the honey LOL _________________ We're the pride of South Australia...we're the mighty ADELAIDE CROWS..... |
