A vet in Australia thought he was seeing double when a cat in labour gave birth to a two-headed kitten.
The one-in-a-million grey and white mog can only use one of its two faces to eat because of a cleft palate. But remarkably both of its mouths can miaow at the same time.
The tiny kitten was born at the Swan Veterinary Clinic in Perth, Western Australia. Its mother had endured complications during the birth. But veterinarian George Huber and his nurse, Louisa Burgess, successfully delivered the remarkable cat in a litter of three. The other two cats were born without deformities.
The feline's freaky feature is the result of a congenital deformity.
Ms Burgess said she was used to kittens being born with double joints, but never two faces.
"I have seen cats with two tails and extra legs, but not this," she told the website inmycommunity.com.au.
Despite its irregular birth, Ms Burgess reported that cat and its mother were doing well.
It follows the birth of a four-eared kitten in Illinois in August.

| There are two faced cats, inevitably and your information is correct but the first photo looks fake. |

It must be real because it came from a national news site, and I'm sure they would have checked out the story before printing it but it does look like its been morphed with a goo programme doesn't it! lmao. Funnily enough, I think the four eared cat looks weirder than the two faced one lol _________________ If you see someone without a smile.....give them yours |

Well check this out Jooby.....
You can get 2 faced anything these days...they come in an assortment of varieties.....
Indians Worship Deformed Baby, Again
Another deformed baby was born in India, and once again the Indian people are worshipping the child as the human incarnation of a Hindu goddess.
You may remember, Lakshmi, the girl with 8 limbs.
Meet Lali, the baby with two faces.
She can blink all her eyes and she can drink milk with both of her mouths, and I think the little cutie even has dimples. _________________ We're the pride of South Australia...we're the mighty ADELAIDE CROWS..... |

there was a programme over here about that little girl, and she died. she wasn't allowed to be buried by the priest of the village because her parents were poor, its all to do with status over there. but her family built her a shrine, and eventually she was buried as a goddess. people still visit her shrine today. _________________ Housework is a complete waste of time. Awww bless her little heart! I've seen siamese twins but never a two faced baby!
I did a post on the 8 limbed baby after I watched that programme, it was heartbreaking to see. I'd love to see a follow up now after she had the surgery to see how she really is adapting to a more normal life.
I haven't seen that one Shell, it's odd how cultures see things different to each other isn't it. I'm glad she got some respect in the end. _________________ If you see someone without a smile.....give them yours |
